Tonight will be the second meeting of the Boston Bruins and Rochester FloridaPanthers this preseason. The Bs are home, so not only will there be double the attendance tonight, but they’ll probably be just as many Florida fans as there were at their “home” game in New York(the over-under is 2).
Whats concerning is the we’ll once again probably not be seeing Tim Thomas, who won’t even be dressing for the game tonight. Bruins continually insist that it’s just precautionary, but seeing as how he’s a 36 and coming off of surgery, it’s a tad concerning. Don’t be surprised to see Tuukka Rask to get the start tonight, which, as much as we love Thomas, is cool with us.

Tyler Seguin will be making his Garden debut tonight (not counting the rookie game), skating on the same line as Bergeron and Recchi. With the players that have been sent down already, we should start to see lines similar to what we can expect during the regular season. Top line will likely be Lucic, Krecji, and Horton.
The biggest Bruins related story today is about Marc Savard, who addressed the media earlier today and admitted that he is still having difficulties. That being said, he has claimed that he’s not even thinking about missing the season..
He’s still got style!

Joe Haggerty from CSNNE.com covers the Savard’s press conference. As much as we joke here at DOY, concussions suck and we wish him all the best.
