Game Day Preview: Bruins vs. Senators

ott

Second straight Adams Northeast Division rivalry game for the Bruins tonight as the take on Ottawa.  While this may be our least favorite of the interdivisional match ups, still should be a good one to watch; even if the Senators logo looks like an albino Spartan.

But yeah, to level with you this will probably be a shorter preview than usual.  This is the weekend of All Hallows Eve and everyone seems to be in the spirit already.  We already told you how some of the Bruins are dressing up, and the DOY crew has their own way of celebrating.  Believe me, there is nothing we like more than candy, booze, and scantily clad women.

So we’re kinda like Charlie Sheen…without the awful sitcom.

After the jump.  Videos, Lines, and Links.

So something about tonight seems vaguely familiar…ah yes, it was just about a year ago when the Bruins rallied from a 3-1 deficit to beat the Senators.  That was also one of the first and last times in the 09-10 season that Boston managed a come from behind win.  The first 58 minutes of that game were frustrating, but hey, we got a solid 2 minutes or so!

Seems like Jason Spezza, who’s been out with groin problems could be making a comeback tonight, which should help out the already strong offense of Ottawa who has scored at least 4 goals in 5 of their last 6 games.  Wouldn’t be surprising to see Timmy T get the start in net tonight for the Bs.

Line ups should look the same as last game (courtesy of Boston.com)

Jordan Caron-Patrice Bergeron-Blake Wheeler
Mark Recchi-Tyler Seguin-Michael Ryder
Brad Marchand-Gregory Campbell-Shawn Thornton

Zdeno Chara-Andrew Ference

Matt Hunwick-Adam McQuaid
