Well I thought that it would be fun to start off this post with some more Chris Neil bashing, but I think Patrice Purrgeron covered that enough with yesterday’s post, if you hate him even a little, check it out. For more wacky fun, check out #ChrisNeilFacts on Twitter.
Today our beloved Bruins take on Ottawa for the second time at the Garden tonight. Last time the met, the Bs won 4-0 and Thomas got his 3rd shut out of the season (not to mention 5th career against the Senators). Shouldn’t be surprising to see Thomas getting another start tonight given his fantastic history against the Senators and technically undefeated record on the season. Don’t feel bad Rask, we still love you!
Oh and just so everybody knows, Mike Fisher is STILL married to Carrie Underwood. Anyone left out there who hasn’t been made aware of that a hundred times?? Points go to whoever counts the number of times announcers/commentators mention that tonight.
After the jump: cake, links and video.
Ok, I lied about the cake.
Given the Seidenberg fiasco from the last game, and general path these games typically take, expect to see a physical bout tonight with plenty of hard hits with at least a fight or two. Word has it that Thornton, Lucic, and Campbell are playing Rock-Paper-Scissors for the chance to take on Neil. I’m sure we’re not alone in expecting big things from Boston tonight, especially where we’re coming off of a tough loss to Montreal….except from Wheeler, we’ve learned to not expect anything from him.
Oh and for those of you going to the game, that noise and cheering during the Habs game wasn’t awful, but it did leave plenty to be desired. It’d be nice if all in attendance turned their volumes up to 11 tonight.
Except for you Dancing Guy, your novelty wore off the 50th time we saw you. Your hat is stupid, and you do the same dance moves any time you’re on the big screen. Please go away.

Game Day Links:
- All-Star Game fan ballot is out. Bruins are represented by Thomas, Krejci, Bergeron, and Chara. I know what everyone is thinking: “What??? No Shawn Thornton???”
- Looks like we may see Boychuk back as soon as next weekend. I know you can’t see us, but we’re smiling!
- Hey! Lady who kicked a hole line the pillar at the Garden! The Bear knows what you did and is most displeased!
- Great stuff on ESPN Boston by James Murphy. We got Thomas’s take on Rask and we see Julien complimenting Ryder
Neither does this:
