Game Day: Wild vs. Bruins — Home at Last

Game 39: Minnesota Wild vs. Boston Bruins, 1/6/11
After a big road trip our beloved Bruins are back at the TD Garden to take on the Wild.

Not gonna lie — this is one of those games where you just kinda forget about when looking at the schedule. We don’t have much of an opinion on these guys. They’re like the chores of the NHL — you might not love to do it, but you prob don’t hate it either. They’re just there.

Like chores, the Wild are just there.
Chuck Kobasew is back in Boston. That’s “exciting.” He has a whopping 6 goals and 1 assist. Thornton has 7 goals and 2 assists. ‘Nuff said.

There’s a dumbass rumor going around about Marc Savard being traded. If you:

1) Retweeted said rumor (in seriousness, not mocking)
2) Believed it

You’re probably also a dumbass.

Umm…. yea… not much else going on. Bruins are still first in the Northeast and third in the East. Go Team Fire Claude #sarcasm.

After the jump… projected rosters (Tuukka or Timmy?)… game day links… and game day video…

We saw this picture while searching for “Minnesota Wild Sucks.” We don’t know what’s going on here.

Maybe she’s starting tonight?

Projected Roster:

Milan Lucic-Marc Savard-Nathan Horton
Mark Recchi-Patrice Bergeron-Tyler Seguin
Blake Wheeler-David Krejci-Michael Ryder
Brad Marchand-Gregory Campbell-Shawn Thornton

Zdeno Chara-Johnny Boychuk
Dennis Seidenberg-Steven Kampfer
Andrew Ference-Adam McQuaid

Tuukka Rask
Tim Thomas

Rask is projected to be in net but who knows. There are conflicting reports.  Either way is good for the Bruins, though we’d love to see Rask get in a groove, too.

When last we saw our Finnish hero:

Tuukkamania Running Wild!
