Hamilton, Subban and Camara on Canada Preliminary Roster

Dougie Hamilton (2012 1st round, pick 9), Malcom Subban (2012 1st round, pick 24) and Anthony Camara (2011 3rd round, pick 81) have been named to Team Canada's Preliminary World Juniors roster.

Hamilton is currently killing it in the OHL right now and it even furthers my frustration about the NHL Lockout. There was a chance that Hamilton would've played for the Bruins this year. Either way, he's currently 12th overall in scoring for the Niagara IceDogs. In 30 games, Dougie has 7 goals and 32 assists (39 points). It probably doesn't hurt that Ryan Strome is leading the OHL in scoring (and happens to be his teammate) with 20 goals and 39 assists (59 points).

Subban is having an equally impressive season with the Belleville Bulls. If you missed his new mask back in October, check it out before going on. It's fucking slick. In 24 games for Belleville, Subban has posted a 13-7-3 record, a 2.23 goals against average and a .931 save percentage. Both his GAA and SV% rank him 4th in the league in their respective category.

Finally is Anthony Camara, who is playing for the Barrie Colts. In 28 games for Barrie, Camara has scored 19 goals and has 15 assists (34 points). I'll be honest, I don't know much about Camara, but he's already eclipsed his 2011-2012 totals with Barrie in goals (9) and assists (5) in fewer games played (32 last season).
