After an abysmal end and start to November, the Bruins are starting to hit their stride again. They've won three straight and look to make it four against the Blue Jackets. As we all know, Columbus is where Nathan Horton ran off to so he could enjoy silly things like zoos, being just another face in the crowd while walking around town, and to never win another Stanley Cup.
Horton's still recovering from shoulder surgery, so we won't get to cheer/boo/whatever tonight unless he's in town and pops up on the Jumbotron. I'd imagine, despite him leaving Boston for more zoos and blaming the team/city for his depature, he'd get a good cheer.
And tonight the Garden will get their first up-close glimpse at Chad Johnson. He hasn't started at the Garden yet this season and it'll only be his third start of the season. Chad is 1-1 with a 2.54 GAA. We don't have a PS of Chad yet because, well, he hasn't earned it yet. So here's a boring picture of him at practice.
We'd imagine Bobvorsky is in net for Columbus. His stats this year are far from his Vezina year last season. He's 5-8-1, 2.84 GAA and a .909 SV%, so him and good ol' Chad Johnson are comparible in that regard.
In other news, the Boston Bruins posed with adorable puppies for their new Pucks & Pups calendar.
McQuaid didn't skate this morning, so he won't be playing tonight.
