Shawn Thornton, Rene Rancourt to guest appear at Hockey Resurrection Party, 1/17

More great news, folks.

Earlier in the week we announced Shawn Thornton would be making a special guest appearance at the Hockey Resurrection Party. We can now announce that Garden Legend Rene Rancourt, former Bruin Lyndon Byers, and MIke Callahan will also be attending our event at the Harp to help kick off the 2013 Bruins Season. Count us as super-stoked.

Rene will be kicking things off with the National Anthem, and will be debuting a new t-shirt in partnership with SupahFans Streetwear. From SupahFans:

SupahFans Streetwear and The TD Garden's Boston Bruins' National Anthem singer Rene Rancourt have partnered to design and sell a new officially licensed "Rene Rancourt Tuxedo T-shirt" with his famous silhouetted fist pump and facsimiled Rene Rancourt signature.

Rene Rancourt is eager to welcome hockey fans back this Thursday January 17th opening a free "Hockey Resurrection" party by singing the National Anthem at 7 pm at The Harp, a Causeway Street fixture. SupahFans Streetwear is making its first batch of "Rene Rancourt Tuxedo T-shirts" available for purchase at its Harp apparel booth that night.  Additionally, former Bruins tough guy Lyndon Byers and current enforcer Shawn Thornton are in attendance.  Bruins hockey fans at The Harp can also expect complimentary food, prizes, a silent auction and a SupahFans competition for Boston's best hockey fans.

Although, the 21+ "Hockey Resurrection" event is free, a capacity crowd is expected and fans may only secure entrance through an RSVP on The Harp's calendar web page here:

The t-shirt will be $15 for people attending Hockey Resurrection, or $18 online.

Also, don't forget to dress up as the biggest Bruins fans possible to win some free swag from Supahfan Streetwear!

Register for the free event at Eventbrite.
