Bruins-Hurricanes-HOME

PREVIEW: Hurricanes vs. Bruins. It’s time for ‘Breaking Lindblad’

What’s this? A Saturday morning preview? What sorcery is this!? Nothing really. We just wanted to show off some Photoshops, so here we are.

The Boston Bruins are back at it this afternoon, hosting the Carolina Hurricanes for their third and final game against the Canes. Bruins currently have a 2-0 stranglehold in the season series, and are also looking to extend their season best seven game winning streak to eight. The Bruins are 8-1-1 in their last 10 while Carolina is 3-7-1.

Yikes.

Expecting to debut today, though, is Matt Lindblad who was recalled from Providence earlier this week. Julien said Lindblad’s been playing well in Provy and they wanted to give him a look in the big leagues. And when you have a 13 point lead in the division, and are first in the conference playing against .500-hockey team, you’ve earned such luxories. Linblad has seven goals and 15 assists this year for the Providence Bruins.

Claude Julien also earned his 300th career win as a Boston Bruin on Thursday night, meaning we get to re-use this awesome, 100% real, non-Photoshopped image of Julien:

Beast, man.
