As NHL training camp approaches I want to suit up for the HABS so I can fight Chara & Lucic…

GOOD NEWS EVERYONE! Bruins hockey has informally started. Captain’s Practice is taking place today, and along with some of the Bruins on the ice is future Hall of Famer Hall Gill and DOY’s Patron Saint Shawn Thornton. Thornton was sporting his Florida Panthers gear, breaking our little blogger hearts. Thornton in his new colors. pic.twitter.com/i4HE0z5sdj — Joe […]
EA Sports just released two NHL15 commercials online and they are, well… we’ll just let you watch ‘em. First up is Mr. Perfect himself. Not to be outdone, however, EA sports also brought Brad Marchand up on stage to do a little singing… We did a little digging to get a behind-the-scenes look at Marchand […]
Ready for some hockey? The Boston Bruins just released their 2014 Training Camp and Rookie Camp roster and schedule. We’re one step closer to the season, which is great since Hockey Twitter during the summer is a shitshow and a half. BOSTON BRUINS ROOKIE CAMP ROSTER FORWARDS: Andrew Aamon*, Spencer Asuchak*, Anthony Camara, Mitchell Dempsey, […]
The Boston Bruins were busy this morning and afternoon with signing some of their minor FA guys. I wonder if Chia got a group discount for signing them all at the same time? Still waiting for the Bs to re-sign Reilly Smith and Torey Krug.
The Chad “Hi I’m Chad Johnson” Johnson era has ended. The Boston Bruins have announced that they’ve signed Niklas Svedberg to a one-year, one way contract. In short, it means he’ll be Tuukka Rask’s backup next season and Johnson is hitting the unemployment line. For Providence Svedberg had a 25-15-4 record with a 2.63 goals against […]
If you haven’t heard, the Boston Garden is getting renovated this summer and TD Garden social media team decided to present us with what might be the most boring infographics of all time. Ok, here it is. HASHING MARKS> ZOMG! But wait! There’s more! Do you really want to eat Garden Mexican food and then […]
The Boston Bruins have signed defenseman Linus Arnesson to an entry-level contract. Word that this happened came out a few days ago, but the Boston Bruins have made it official. They’ve been too busy pushing #NHL15Bergeron that they forgot about player signing news. From the Bruins press release: In the 2013-14 campaign, Arnesson skated in 44 […]
Behind the B isn’t the greatest hockey show we’ve ever seen. It’s definitely a watered down version of 24/7, but it does have its moments. Take in point the most recent episode in which PK Subban decides to go for Bergeron’s head twice.
It’s cool, yo, because he apologies for mistaking him for Marchand. Because going after Marchand’s head is perfectly legit and not at all a cheap shot.
@JustinDOY because it's Marchand…probably the same thought process Neal had when he skated his knee into his head.

The other night Montreal’s Brandan Prust nailed Rangers’ Derek Stepan with an egregious late hit to the head, which for Boston fans feels all too familiar. Awful. Stepan got a broken jaw for this and is out for who knows how long. Meanwhile Prust got a mere two games. Related: Dan Carcillo (who’s a piece of […]
